Effective 11 July 2026. This policy explains cancellation, withdrawal, and remedies for purchases made directly from VirdraStudio. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority.
1. Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are an EU or EEA consumer, you normally have 14 days from the date the contract is concluded to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. To exercise that right, send an unambiguous statement to hello@virdrastudio.com before the period expires and include your name, purchase email, order number, product, and purchase date. A model form is not required. If withdrawal is valid, payments covered by the withdrawal will be reimbursed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed, using the original payment method unless another method is agreed. No fee is charged for the reimbursement.
2. Digital downloads and immediate access
VirdraLeaf is supplied as digital content. The statutory withdrawal right may end before the 14-day period only when supply or download begins after you have given prior express consent to immediate performance and acknowledged that this causes loss of the withdrawal right. That consent and acknowledgement must be collected separately during checkout and confirmed to you on a durable medium. Merely accepting this policy or the EULA is not enough. If those conditions were not met, the statutory withdrawal right remains available. Where access has not started, withdrawal can be requested within the normal period.
3. Faulty or non-conforming software
Withdrawal is separate from your rights when digital content is faulty or does not conform to the contract. If VirdraLeaf does not match its description, supported configuration, agreed functionality, compatibility, interoperability, updates, or other legal requirements, contact us with the order reference, version, operating system, and a description of the problem. We may first provide a correction, replacement build, required update, or practical support within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Where conformity cannot be restored, is refused, fails again, or the problem is sufficiently serious, you may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction or termination and reimbursement under applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory legal guarantees or remedies.
4. Requests, subscriptions, and third-party sales
Send requests to hello@virdrastudio.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; bank or payment-provider posting times may vary. Ending a subscription stops future renewal but does not automatically refund an elapsed billing period, except where withdrawal rights, non-conformity remedies, checkout terms, or other mandatory law require it. Duplicate charges will be corrected. Purchases through a marketplace or reseller must normally be requested from that seller because it processed the transaction, although your mandatory rights remain against the responsible trader. Enterprise agreements may contain separate commercial terms, but they cannot remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
